In 2020, I began playing around with my illustration style by overlaying it on photography, mainly using free public photos from Unsplash and old shots from my own camera. Eventually, I had the idea to collaborate with local photographers — with their permission, I started adding illustrations to their photos. It was a fun little project and allowed me to collaborate with creatives whom I hadn’t met before, along with adding something new to my book.
