To bring more art, color, and diversity to the area, the city of Ferndale opens its mural program to local artists each year. In 2023, the theme was "You Belong Here," with the brief to create a mural design that reflects this theme and the city from your personal experience/perspective. I’ve always admired Ferndale’s spirited community and how the city is evolving, consistently working to infuse new energy into its neighborhoods and streets. The 2023 theme resonated with me, and I felt it deserved to be displayed on a wall in Ferndale, surrounded by the vibrant colors and growth that symbolize what makes the city so special.
